Do you love bringing stories to life? We’re seeking several new performers to join our team!

About the Role:

As a performer, you’ll step into the shoes of many beloved characters! Cast members must be dependable, confident, and outgoing with weekend availability. You must work well with children and are not afraid to be in front of a crowd. While there is no experience required, you will be expected to stay in character, learn the occasional movement piece, and perform in sing-a-longs at the birthday parties (live singing is not required). We are looking for performers with reliable transportation. All costumes, wigs, accessories, and party supplies will be provided. This is an ideal job for college students that need a part time job or anyone looking to gain performing experience! It is a lot of fun and a very rewarding job.

You’ll Be Doing Things Like:

  • Engaging and entertaining children of various ages with enchanting storytelling, sing-a-longs, dancing, and interactive games.(don’t worry — training provided!)

  • Interacting with kids and families in an engaging, warm, and professional manner

  • Maintaining the look, personality, and spirit of the character(s) you are hired for

  • Traveling to event locations (within the DMV)

  • Adhering to event schedules and timelines, ensuring promptness and timely arrival at each party or event. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong stage presence — dance or performance experience a plus

  • Comfortable improvising and staying in character

  • Great with kids & families

  • Reliable transportation

  • Weekend availability (this is when the magic happens!)

  • Bonus points if you have any performance skills, including acting, singing (again, not required!), dancing, cosplay, and storytelling.
