FAQs
What areas do you service?
We service birthday parties in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Birthday parties and events must be within two hours of DC. Travel fees are calculated based on distance from Cleveland Park, DC. If your party requires a travel fee, this will be quoted to you before you pay your deposit.
Why are there travel fees?
If your party is more than 40 minutes away, a travel fee is added to your invoice to review before making your deposit. All travel fees go directly to the performer to pay for their additional time added to your booking.
What time Should I schedule the princess to arrive?
We recommend scheduling the princess at least 30 minutes after the start time of your princess party. This will give guests enough time to arrive and settle in before the princess arrival.
How do I book a party?
Start by filling out the booking form! We will be in contact with you for your custom quote within 24 hours. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your placement on our calendar. The final balance is due one week before your party date and can be set up to automatically be charged to the card on file.
How many princesses should I book?
At minimum, we recommend one princess for every 10-12 kids. This ensures that the princess is able to give each child the attention they deserve. Parties with more than 12 kids may want to consider adding an additional princess for the party.
What is the difference in the premium party?
The premium package includes an additional 30 minutes (1.5 hour party) and lots of upgrades and add ons! For a princess party, you get an upgraded tiara, glitter tattoos, and tiara craft. For a unicorn party, you get 12 rainbow wands, glitter tattoos, and a tiara. For Barbie parties, you get friendship bracelets, glitter tattoos, and 12 heart shaped sunnies.
When will the character contact me?
Your character will text you a minimum of one hour before the booking to let you know they are on the way. They will also call when they arrive to arrange how you would like them to enter.
Can I request a specific actress?
We cannot guarantee each actresses availability but we can do our best to satisfy your request. However, if the actress is not available, one of our other trained cast members can make your party just as magical!
