There is a moment at every holiday party when a character walks through the door. The room goes quiet for one second, and then every child in it lights up. Whether you are planning a neighborhood gathering, a school celebration, an end-of-year office party or a winter birthday, here is everything you need to know about bringing a little seasonal magic to your party in DC, Maryland or Virginia.

Meet the Holiday Collection

From November through December only, our characters trade their usual gowns for costumes made for the season, so your photos look like a page from a winter storybook.

Every family celebrates this time of year a little differently, so here is a quick guide. The Snow Sisters and the Sugar Plum Ballerina are all about winter magic and fit any celebration. Our elves and Christmas Belle are classic Christmas favorites, perfect for families and groups who celebrate Christmas.

Where a Seasonal Character Fits Best

Neighborhood and HOA parties. A character visit gives the whole block something to gather around, and it becomes the moment families talk about until next December.

School celebrations. A festive surprise before winter break, from preschool classrooms to whole-school assemblies.

Company family and end-of-year parties. Give your team’s kids their own corner of magic while the grown ups celebrate.

Cookie swaps and open houses. A special guest turns a cozy afternoon into a holiday tradition.

Winter birthdays. December babies deserve their own spotlight, not a party lost in the holiday rush.

Tree lightings and festivals. Meet and greets that keep the line moving and every family smiling.

What Happens During a Holiday Visit

Planning Tips for a Stress-Free Holiday Visit

  • Reach out early. Holiday group dates often fill by December 1, so send us your date as soon as you have one.
  • Choose the right length. Thirty minutes is lovely for a quick meet and greet at an open house. One hour leaves time for story time and games. Bigger groups do best with 90 minutes or more, so every child gets their moment.
  • Consider a pair for a big crowd. Two characters keep the photo line moving and make for the sweetest pictures. It is our most booked holiday option.
  • Plan your photo spot. Clear a space by the tree or a bright window before we arrive.
  • Tell us about your group. Our pre-party questionnaire covers names, ages and favorite songs, so the visit feels personal from the very first hello.

Holiday Pricing

Holiday visits are priced exactly like our birthday parties, with no holiday markup. A solo holiday character starts at $195 for 30 minutes. You can see every option, including holiday pairs, on our holiday character page.
